During our lives our health, happiness and success will depend, to a very large extent, on our ability to adapt successfully to the stresses we encounter. Failure to adapt will mean sickness, depression, loss of self-esteem and low achievement. When stress is handled effectively (managed), it provides the motivation that enables us to overcome the obstacles that separate us from our hopes and goals.
